Palm Sugar
Palm/arenga sugar is a product that is made from arenga trees (arenga pinnata)
sap that grows naturally in Indonesian forest. The sap is collected by farmers
that make the daily climb up the arenga trees to manually tap it.
The traditional process of making arenga sugaris a skill passed down the generations.

because we collaborate directly with arenga sugar farmers.

Why Arenga Sugar?
Lower glycemic index
The glycemic index is an indicator that
measures how quickly
or slowly
carbohydrates in meals increase
blood sugar levels
in the body. The lower the glicemic index score,
the slower sugar level will increase.

Arenga Sugar is a healthier alternative to white cane sugar. Its low glycemic index (GI) is almost half that of white sugar and honey,
making it suitable for diabetics.

Arenga sugar contains manganese. This mineral promotes bone health and may reduce risks of osteoporosis.

Based on data from the Ministry of Health, every 100 grams of Arenga sugar contains 390.4 mg of potassium. This is a significant level of potassium, which can reduce calcium deposits in kidneys that are notorious for causing kidney stones.
