Arenga Sugar

Arenga Sugar is made from the sap of arenga trees (arenga pinnata) that grow naturally in Indonesian rainforests. The sap is collected daily by farmers that climb up the trees to manually “tap” it. The traditional process of making arenga sugar is a skill passed down the generations.
We have a significant reliable source of arenga sugar because we collaborate directly with arenga sugar farmers.
